DEUTSCH

EnWave Corporation is an R&D company developing commercial applications for our Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) dehydration technology. REV is used to dehydrate food, bulk liquids, and pharmaceuticals. Our goal is to replace the industry standard of freeze drying, which is an expensive and time consuming process.

nutraREV™ for Food

Designed for the dehydration of fruits, vegetables, low-fat snacks, herbs and other food to provide higher nutritional content and improved appearance and flavour over conventional methods. EnWave is selling commercial-scale, continuous nutraREV™ technology and has a Research and Development agreement with Nestlé SA.

powderREV™ for Food Cultures & Fine Biochemicals

Designed for the bulk dehydration of temperature sensitive biomaterials such as enzymes and probiotics. The company is collaborating with Danisco AS, the world's largest producer of probiotics and food cultures, to develop the current powderREV™ prototype into a high-speed, lower-energy, continuous alternative to freeze drying.

bioREV™ & freezeREV™ for Pharmaceuticals

Designed for the dehydration of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products. This technology is being tested for feasibility in producing room temperature stable vaccines and antibodies that can be shipped worldwide without refrigeration, and stockpiled to protect against pandemic diseases and bioterrorism.
