EnWave Corporation is a life sciences R&D company developing commercial applications for our Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology. Developed in conjunction with the University of British Columbia, REV is used to dehydrate liquid pharmaceuticals and food products. Our goal is to replace the industry standard of freeze-drying, which is an expensive and labour intensive process.

bioREV for liquid pharmaceuticals Designed for the dehydration of liquid pharmaceuticals containing sensitive biological material such as vaccines and antibodies. bioREV is being tested for feasibility in producing room temperature stable vaccines and antibodies that can be shipped worldwide without refrigeration, and stockpiled to protect against pandemic diseases and bioterrorism.

nutraREV for food Designed for the dehydration of fruits, vegetables, nutraceuticals and food cultures such as probiotics and enzymes, to provide higher nutritional content and improved appearance and flavour over conventional methods. A commercial-scale nutraREV machine is currently being tested by a food industry partner to determine the commercial viability of this technology.
