EnWave Signs Commercial License and Equipment Purchase Agreements with Royal FrieslandCampina N.V.

EnWave Corporation (TSX-V:ENW | FSE:E4U) (“EnWave”, or the “Company”) announced today it had signed Commercial License and Equipment Purchase Agreements (the “Agreements”) with Milkubator, an incubator for innovation programme within global dairy company Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. The Agreements enable the innovation subsidiary to explore and pilot EnWave’s Radiant Energy Vacuum (“REV™”) food dehydration technology for its innovation roadmap.
Furthermore, to its R&D departments, the Milkubator innovation program aims to develop new products that fit the evolving consumer needs and taste preferences
The use of REV™ technology, of course, is key to the development of a product line. EnWave’s REV™ technology uses a combination of vacuum pressure and microwave energy to deliver a high-speed, low-temperature drying process. It removes water from organic materials in a way that preserves flavour and texture as well as its nutritive value.

1. nutraREV® which is used in the food industry to dry food products quickly and at low-cost, while maintaining high levels of nutrition, taste, texture and colour;
2. powderREV® which is used for the bulk dehydration of food cultures, probiotics and fine biochemicals such as enzymes below the freezing point, and
3. quantaREV® which is used for continuous, high-volume low-temperature drying.
